Benefits of NPU President Scholarship in China

The NPU President Scholarship is organized into three unique tiers, each providing different amounts of financial assistance to international students:

First Tier:

Complete waiver of tuition and housing costs.
Living stipends are also offered to address essential costs:
- Undergraduate: 1500 RMB monthly for a duration of 12 months
- Master’s: 2000 RMB each month for a duration of 12 months.
- PhD: 3500 RMB monthly

Second Tier:

Tuition fee waiver only: This level provides financial assistance by covering tuition costs, while students are responsible for their housing and living expenses.

Third Tier:

Tuition costs reduction by 50%: This tier lessens the financial pressure by covering half of the tuition expenses, requiring students to handle the remaining half, in addition to housing and living expenses.

NPU President Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

This scholarship is available to individuals who are not Chinese citizens and hold valid passports.
Those who were once citizens of China must provide proof of foreign citizenship or a document verifying the renunciation of their Chinese nationality.
Candidates must be in good physical and mental health, without infectious diseases or conditions that impede normal studying.
Undergraduate applicants must have a high school diploma and be under 25 years old by September 1, 2025.
Applicants for the master’s program must possess a bachelor’s degree and be under 30 years of age as of September 1, 2025.
PhD applicants need to possess a master’s degree and be below 35 years of age as of September 1, 2025.
Applicants must meet the language requirements in either Chinese or English.
