Benefits of McGill University Entrance Scholarship

McGill University offers two categories of centrally-managed entrance scholarships:

One Year Scholarships: These have a value of $3,000 and cannot be renewed.
Major Entrance Scholarships: These range in value from $12,000 to $48,000, with yearly awards between $3,000 and $12,000, can be renewed for a maximum of 4 years

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

This scholarship is intended for students beginning a full-time undergraduate degree course.
Transfer, mature, diploma, exchange, special, part-time, and visiting students do not qualify for entrance scholarships.
A student can receive only one entrance scholarship.
If a student obtains multiple entrance scholarship offers, the final awarded scholarship will be the highest eligible amount.
Scholarships cannot be transferred if you choose to switch faculties.
A One Year Scholarship cannot be renewed, while Major Entrance Scholarships can be renewed for up to 4 years, provided the student maintains eligibility criteria.
