This scholarship is available to women who are enrolled in a business program at an accredited college, university, or institution, including those studying online.
The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships, honoring Jane M. Klausman from the Zonta Club of Syracuse, were initially granted in 1998. The scholarships are intended for women seeking business degrees with the aim of a career in management. Since that time, Zonta has granted 713 scholarships, amounting to more than US$1.8 million, to 559 women from 69 nations. To qualify for this scholarship, candidates must be in their second year of an undergraduate program or in the last year of a master’s program when they submit their application to the local Zonta club. The scholarship may be used at any accredited university, college, or institution that provides recognized courses and degrees.
The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship offers financial support to pay for tuition and additional educational costs, allowing women to advance their education in business and leadership positions. As a component of the application process, applicants must also provide a personal statement detailing their career aspirations and dedication to promoting women in business.
