International Entrance Scholarships

Humber provides the International Entrance Scholarship to outstanding high school students, determined by their GPA from academic transcripts.  The scholarship offers a CAD 2,000 discount on tuition fees (CAD 1,000 each semester) for the initial two semesters. There are 20 scholarships offered for September, 15 for January, and 5 for May, with each selected student hailing from a distinct country each semester.

Bachelor’s Degree Scholarships

Humber provides automatic scholarships to high school graduates based on their academic performance. These scholarships are open to non-transfer students and there is no limit on their number.

Scholarship amounts depend on GPA: $4,000 for 95% or above, $3,500 for 90-94.9%, $3,000 for 85-89.9%, $2,000 for 80-84.9%, and $1,500 (one-time) for 75-79.9%. Every scholarship, apart from the $1,500 grant, is renewable.

Bachelor’s Degree Scholarships for EAP Graduates

This scholarship is available for graduates of Humber’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program who have achieved a GPA of 80% or more in Level 8 and are seeking admission to a Bachelor’s Degree program. The scholarship is a single, non-renewable award worth $1,500.

Awards for EAP Graduates

This award is designated for graduates of Humber’s EAP Certificate Program (Level 8) and is awarded based on GPA, notable enhancement in English abilities, and showcasing respect and cross-cultural communication within the Humber community. These awards are exclusively for EAP graduates who have begun a degree program at Humber. Nominations for faculty occur every autumn, with recipients being informed in November.

Barbados Canada Foundation Scholarships

These scholarships are available for young individuals of Barbadian descent who are seeking post-secondary education at universities and colleges in Canada. Every scholarship is worth $4,000 annually.

LanguageCert University and College Pathways Scholarship

International students participating in a preparatory or pathway English program at Humber Polytechnic, where LanguageCert exams serve as evidence of English proficiency, and who have been granted conditional admission to a Canadian degree or diploma program, can apply for a $1,000 scholarship.
