Financial Coverage of Future Global Leaders Scholarships at Islamic University of Indonesia

Eligibility Criteria for Future Global Leaders Scholarships (FGLS)

• The FGLS scholarship is available to all countries worldwide except Indonesia.
• Applicants for the bachelor’s program must have finished secondary education, senior high school, vocational school, or a comparable institution.
• Applicants for the master’s program must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Applicants for doctoral programs are required to hold a master’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Candidates are not permitted to reapply for the degree program they have already finished.
• Candidates must have attained outstanding academic performance in their prior studies.
• Candidates should not be obtaining any additional scholarships or from UII.
• At the time of application, the maximum age for the bachelor’s program must be 23 years.
• There is no age restriction for master’s and doctoral programs.
• Individuals who have a refugee status stamp on their passport cannot apply for the scholarship.

Document Requirements

• Scan of passport’s identity page.
• CV/resume.
• Official passport photo (3×4 cm, red background).
• Health statement.
• Graduation certificate and academic transcript (with official English translation).
• Motivation letter.
• Language proficiency certificate (English/Indonesian).
• English: Minimum B1 level (TOEFL 500, IELTS 5, or Duolingo 75-80).
• Indonesian (if any): UKBI level 4 (score 482+).
• Letter of financial commitment.

How to Apply

1. Register and Apply: Go to admisi.uii.ac.id, generate your admission number (NIU), then upload your passport-sized picture along with your national ID or passport. Next, select International Admission, pick 3 study programs, and submit the necessary documents.
2. Observe and Confirm: Check the status of your application with your NIU. Upon review, an interview invitation will be sent to your account.
3. Interview: Participate in the academic and scholarship selection interviews as planned.
4. Accept and Register: Get the acceptance letter and study contract, then sign and upload it. Upon finishing the required Indonesian language courses, you will receive the UII FGLS 2024 scholarship. Finalize your enrollment and obtain your student ID.
