Colombia Scholarship Program 2025 Benefits

• Chosen students will have the opportunity to obtain complete tuition funding for qualifying programs.
• Students who receive awards will obtain a medical insurance policy throughout their study period (excluding copayments and prescription costs).
• This scholarship will provide a courtesy Visa Type “V” granted by Colombia’s Ministry of Foreign Relations.
• Candidates will receive a monthly allowance equal to three Colombian legal minimum salaries, disbursed quarterly.
• Students who receive the award will be provided with one-time relocation assistance of COP 250,000 to cover expenses related to the foreigner ID card.
• Chosen students will have the opportunity to gain networking and academic experience by collaborating with Colombian institutions and academics.

Colombia Scholarship Program 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be non-Colombians (not possessing Colombian citizenship or dual nationality).
• Applicants should be less than 50 years old.
• Applicants for this scholarship must not currently reside in Colombia or have lived there within the past 6 months.
• Applicants are required to possess a bachelor’s or undergraduate degree.
• Candidates need to possess a minimum GPA of 4.0/5.0 or its equivalent (undergraduate only).
• Applicants for this scholarship are required to have confirmed admission to 1–3 master’s programs included in the 2025-2 Academic Offer Catalogue.
• Candidates for this scholarship are required to be in sound physical and mental health (verified by a physician).
• Applicants are required to possess a minimum of one year of professional experience after graduation.
• Applicants should not have previously obtained this scholarship or have a Colombian spouse.
